 Refunds:
We typically do not offer refunds for vehicle rentals. However,
our goal is total satisfaction for our renters, so in certain
situations we may offer credit or additional rental days.
This is solely at our discretion.
Inclement Weather: In the event of dangerous weather or road
conditions such as heavy storms, we reserve the right
to not rent or release a vehicle. We also prohibit the renter
from driving in such conditions if they happen during the
rental period. In these situations a refund and/or rental
credit will be provided. Please remember you are responsible
for any and all damage to the vehicle, including hail damage.
Delivery / Pick-up: Vehicle delivery and pick-up is available
to and from your door, or airport.
Damage Deposit: All renters must leave a damage deposit in
the form of a credit card authorization. Any damage found
on the vehicle upon return will be billed against this authorization.
Driving Area Restrictions: Rental vehicles may not be driven
outside the state of Mauritius without prior written approval.
Payment Methods: We currently accept Cash, VISA, MasterCard,
and American Express for payment of rental fees and damage
deposits.
Hours of Operation: Daily hours are 9:00am to 8:00pm. We offer
after hours pick-up or drop-off upon a feeProhibited Uses:
The vehicles may not be used/driven:
by anyone who has not signed the contract agreement as an
authorized driver (this is important as your liability insurance
will not cover damages to the vehicle if you are not the driver
at the time of an accident. Per the contract that makes you
personally liable for any and all damages to the vehicle and
your insurance coverage is zero in this situation)
by anyone not licensed to drive or whose Driver's License
has been suspended or restricted
for any illegal purpose or in connection with any illegal
activity
to carry persons or property for hire
to push or tow anything
to exceed any posted speed limits
in any speed test, speed contest, race, rally, speed endurance
contest, demonstration, or on or near any racetrack or road
course (we're serious about this -- no insurance company on
earth will cover the car while on the track, and that means
we're both on the hook for a LOT of money)
to teach anyone to drive
on any unpaved surface
In the event of a violation of these Prohibited Uses, we reserve
the right to retrieve the vehicle.
Tickets: The renter is responsible for all parking, traffic,
speeding or other tickets or violations issued while the vehicle
is being rented and must pay for any fees, penalties, towing
charges, or impound costs.
Smoking/Eating/Drinking: For the pleasure of all future renters,
we do not allow smoking in our vehicles. Eating or drinking
in the vehicles is also discouraged but not prohibited. A
cleaning charge of $ 10 will apply in the event of a beverage/food
spill or evidence of smoking is found upon vehicle return.
Cleaning: If vehicle is returned excessively dirty, such that
more than 2 hours of cleaning is required to restore vehicle
to its pre-rental condition a $20 detailing charge will apply.
Traffic Accident: First, seek medical attention if needed.
Contact the local police department and file an accident report.
Then, contact us so we are aware of the situation. Inside
the glove box of each vehicle is an envelope with procedures
for handling accidents or mechanical breakdowns. Please follow
these procedures step by step to minimize your liability.
Vehicle Breakdown: Our vehicles are meticulously maintained
on a continual basis, but in the unlikely event of a vehicle
breakdown, contact us and we will send help immediately. Inside
the glove box of each vehicle is an envelope with procedures
